My name is Officer Trevor Gardner and I work at Canaveral National Seashore, Florida. I work with the law enforcement division and I'm a law enforcement park ranger. My job is to keep the visitors safe that come to our parks and keep the resources safe that our parks protects. What I love about my job is I get to help countless number of people, countless number of resources, plants, animals, cultural resources that our parks were made to protect.
How I got into the park service is I was working on my Eagle Scout project like a lot of you are going to be doing soon and I got the chance to work with a lot of park rangers. I interviewed some of these park rangers and I thought it was some of the coolest jobs in the world. So I pursued the job and here I am now.
