2024 Candlelight Tour Scene 4

Description

Fort Scott National Historic Site presents its Annual Candlelight Tour the first weekend in December. Visitor experiences differ each year as vignettes, staff and volunteer performers, and the weather changes. This year's tour had clear skies, ~1000 candles, 6 new vignettes, and 40+ volunteers.

In this vignette, two privates share different opinions about the South Pass Expedition of 1845.
