2024 Candlelight Tour Scene 1

Description

Fort Scott National Historic Site presents its Annual Candlelight Tour the first weekend in December. Visitor experiences differ each year as vignettes, staff and volunteer performers, and the weather changes. This year's tour had clear skies, ~1000 candles, 6 new vignettes, and 40+ volunteers.

In this first vignette, visitors to the Fort are greeted by the guard on duty.
