In celebration of Women's History Month, join the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House NHS as Ranger John Fowler interviews author Jill Watts about her book, “The Black Cabinet: The Untold Story of African Americans and Politics During the Age of Roosevelt”, which explores how Mary McLeod Bethune created the Black Cabinet, the role of African Americans during the administration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the lesser known role of NCNW members in the cabinet.
