Service Animals

Service animals are allowed in national parks. See the Americans with Disability Act’s (ADA) definition of a service animal for more help. Contact us with questions or for help planning your visit.

For the safety and well-being of your service animal, please keep in mind:

  • Rules: Service animals visiting must be kept on a leash at all times. Please be aware that it can get crowded and tight in some places in the home.

  • Water: Please ask a ranger if your service animal needs water and they can provide water from the sink inside.
