Counties within the Lower Mississippi Delta Initiative

For purposes of the Lower Mississippi Delta Initiative, the region includes 219 counties and parishes within the States of Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee, as defined in the Delta Initiatives Report, except that, for any State for which the Delta Region as defined in such report comprises more than half of the geographic area of such State, the entire State shall be considered part of the Delta Region for purposes of this title.

The entire states of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi are included in the Delta.

In addition, the following counties are included:

Illinois Counties:
Alexander, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Saline, Union, White, and Williamson

Kentucky Counties:
Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union, and Webster

Missouri Counties:
Bollinger, Butler, Cape, Girardeau, Carter, Crawford, Dent, Douglas, Dunklin, Howell, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Ozark, Pemiscot, Perry, Phelps, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois, Stoddard, Texas, Washington, Wayne, and Wright

Tennessee Counties:
Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton, and Weakley
