Services Inside the Park

The Shop at Little River Canyon is the gift shop (operated by the Jacksonville State University Field School) at the Jacksonville State University Little River Canyon Center. There are no goods or services at Little River Canyon National Preserve.

Jacksonville State University Little River Canyon Center - open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Central)

Gift Store - open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Central)

WiFi and Cell Phone Service
WiFi is available at the Little River Canyon Center.
Cell phone coverage is spotty throughout the majority of the park, with no cell phone coverage at Canyon Mouth Park.

 

Services Outside the Park

A gas station/store/cafe is located across State Route 35 from the Little River Canyon Center and offers limited groceries & goods.

The City of Fort Payne is located 5 miles west of the Little River Canyon Center and offers numerous stores, food, gasoline, lodging, and museums.

Camping is not available at Little River Canyon National Preserve. The nearest campground is at De Soto State Park, which also has cabins and a motel.

Limited services are available along State Route 35 between Little River Canyon National Preserve and the City of Fort Payne.
