Here are some reminders:

  • Alcohol is not allowed
  • Camping is not permitted
  • Dogs must remain on a leash (no longer than 6 feet) at all times while in park
  • Drones are not allowed except with a Special Permit (fees apply) - click here to learn more about why drones are restricted
  • Fireworks are not allowed
  • Special Events require a permit (fees apply)

For Firearms Laws please refer to 18. U.S.C § 930

It is the responsibility of visitors to understand and comply with all applicable state, local and federal firearms before entering this park. Under federal law, along with state and local laws, those people who meet certain guidelines may possess firearms in the park but not in federal buildings. This includes visitor centers, administrative offices, maintenance buildings and ranger stations.
