Pronghorn is only found in North America and is often called an antelope. Their horns are made up of two parts: a bony core covered by a black outer sheath. They are the only animals in the world who shed their "outer horns" annually.
When a white-tailed deer is alarmed, it may stomp its hooves and snort to warn other deer. It may also "flag" or raise its tail and show its white underside. They are very good runners. They can run at speeds of up to 30 miles an hour.
