Inventory Reports

Inventories are point-in-time surveys to learn about the location or condition of certain resources, including the presence, distribution, or status of plants and animals, air, water, soils, landforms, and climate. Information in these inventory reports helped establish a minimum level of data, which has served as a common starting point for our natural resource monitoring. Natural Resource Condition Assessments evaluate current conditions for a subset of natural resources and resource indicators in the parks, report on trends in resource condition (when possible), identify critical data gaps, and characterize a general level of confidence for study findings.
