MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK
Paradise Inn (1917)

This lobby contains fourteen bays of equal size, originally with French doors facing north-northwest, allowing cool summer breezes to enter on hot summer days. Structural logs (with steel inserts--late 1970s) separate each bay, contributing to the Inn's unique architectural styling. Glazed, multi-light panels line its front elevation.23
