The National Park Service, George Washington Memorial Parkway (Park) gives notice of the custody of the following Abandoned and Unclaimed Personal Property (boats and boat trailers), located in the parking lot associated with Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial and Columbia Island Marina (George Washington Memorial Parkway South, Washington DC 20024).
It is the Park’s intention to sell or otherwise dispose of this Abandoned and Unclaimed Personal Property 30 days after posting of this notice, in accordance with [1. Statutory: (1) 40 USC 552 Abandoned or Unclaimed Property on Government Premises and (2) 40 USC 1306 Disposition of abandoned or forfeited personal property.2. Regulatory: Federal Management Regulations -- 41 CFR Part 102-41]
Any person or entity having a right of claim to any item of property listed below must appear in person at the United States Park Police District 2 station at 700 George Washington Memorial Parkway Mclean VA 22101, to claim the listed property. Positive Proof of Ownership is required in order to claim the property listed below. To confirm ownership and availability call US Park Police at (202) 610 -7505.
Property once claimed must immediately be removed from Park premises. Any property not removed from Park lands or that is removed and returned to park lands listed in this notice continues to be considered Abandoned and Unclaimed Personal Property and will be disposed of per this notice.

Includes any and all boats, and boat trailers that have been abandoned and unclaimed in the parking lot that serves Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial and Columbia Island Marina.
