Be A Junior Ranger

Are you ready to join the ranks of the National Park Service Junior Rangers? Junior Rangers explore, learn about, and protect national parks. They wear a special badge that they earn by proving that they know their national park and taking the Junior Ranger pledge. You can become a Junior Ranger by completing one of the activities described below.

Earn your Junior Ranger badge and add to your collection!

The Junior Ranger program is a great way to learn more about George Washington Memorial Parkway (GWMP). Anyone can become a Junior Ranger by completing activities either during a visit to the park or by mail.

Get a free Junior Ranger Activity Booklet from park staff at theTurkey Run Headquarters’ front desk, Arlington House or Great Falls Park - you can even borrow a pencil if needed. Complete and return the booklet to park staff. We will be thrilled to award you a Junior Ranger Badge and certificate for your hard work!

If you can't visit the GWMP in person, don't worry - you can earn a Junior Ranger badge by downloading and completing the following Junior Ranger Booklets.
