Homeschool Field Day on Cemetery Ridge

Friday, March 13, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

(Inclement weather date: Friday, March 20, 2026)

Travel with your family to four ranger field stations along or near Cemetery Ridge to gain hands-on leadership lessons from the fields of Gettysburg. Families will develop traits of leadership including communication, teamwork, courage and integrity, and explore the paths of the U.S. Signal Corps on Little Round Top, the actions of the 9th Massachusetts Battery and the First Minnesota Infantry, as well as the creation and dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery with President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. Registration required to receive your station map, instructions and leadership certificate.

Note: Recommended for children ages 8-14. If you have children below age 5, please find alternative plans for them. Also, we can accept a maximum of 50 students per session. A waiting list will be maintained for reservation requests after that. Thank you!
