"A Play of Candlelight" Annual Program

News Release Date: August 8, 2025 Dressed in historic costumes, staff will guide visitors on a lantern-lit tour to "meet" some of the personalities who helped weave the fabric of Fort Union. Reservations required by calling the visitor center beginning August 8. Each program lasts about 45 minutes and is limited to 22 reservation-holders. Park gates open for this event at 6:00 PM.

Saturday, September 6, 2025. Tours at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM
