IntroductionChiricahua National Monument, Coronado National Memorial, and Fort Bowie National Historic Site are managed under the Southeast Arizona (SEAZ) Group within the National Park Service (NPS). While the enabling legislation and the resources for each may vary, private and commercial activities that occur on these public lands are managed in the same way. Commercial Use AuthorizationsCommercial Use Authorizations (CUAs) will not be issued through the NPS online system for 2026. Commercial operators interested in offering photography instruction or in leading hiking, biking, horseback riding, and motorized vehicle tours should contact us via the methods shown above for a letter of authorization. There is no charge for this. Special Use PermitsSpecial Use Permits (SUPs) are permits granted to private persons or groups for short-term activities that require some degree of management by the NPS. Examples include weddings, family reunions, sporting events, and the scattering of ashes. Film/Photography and Audio Recording PermitsSpecial Use Permits (SUPs) may also be issued for short-term activities that involve filming, photography or audio recording.
