Developing the outstanding Potomac network of trails in places with dense residential and commercial use is challenging. Even so, the end result is a beautiful trail that boasts both pristine nature and Mid-Atlantic American history dating back to George Washington. You too can be a part of building this unique trail! Volunteer with local trail groups to help complete various gaps all while learning about exceptional places to hike, ride and paddle.

For more information on how to become a volunteer, please select an area where you would like to help complete the trail.
