Invalid Access Token

CommonSpot maintains communication with external social media and URL shortener services through an access token enabled when CommonSpot is registered with the service. See Integrating Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Setting Up URL Shortening, and guidelines for the individual services for details. These tokens expire over time and require re-authorization to give CommonSpot permission to create and update posts for each account you use.

If this message displays when sharing a post or a comment, users with manage social media privileges can re-enable communication by clicking Re-Authorize. The external site prompts you to grant CommonSpot access, as described for Add Social Media Channel.

Send Notification is enabled if email is configured for the site. Users without manage social media privileges can click this button to send a channel-specific notification and request for reauthorization. A comma-delimited list of names displays. Select the appropriate recipient(s) for the following pre-populated message:

Title: Authorization required for CommonSpot Channel channelname.

Subject: The servicename service needs to be re-authorized to accept data from CommonSpot. Please navigate to Site Admin > CommonSpot service and authorize the channel.

On submit, CommonSpot confirms: â€śMessage has been sent to the following people {FirstName LastName}.
