Montgomery, James
- Bio:
- He was a Free State immigrant who organized a military company. Later, he was a colonel of the Third (later 10th) Kansas Infantry, the Second Regiment, South Carolina Colored Volunteers (34th USCT Infantry). He fought with the Sixth Kansas State Militia during Price'³ raids in 1864.
