Lane, James H.
- Bio:
- He was an Indiana Congressman who became a leader of the Free State forces in the Wakarusa War and the Constitutional Conventions. Later a U.S. Senator, he raised "Lane'³ Brigade" and the First and Second Kansas Colored Infantry as a Union Army Recruitment Commissioner.
