Westcott, John

- In 1861, Wescott joined the Confederate army as a captain of Company A, 2nd Florida Battalion. He commanded the 10th Infantry Regiment which was assembled in June, 1864. It was formed by consolidating six companies of the 1st and four of the 2nd Florida Infantry Battalions.
