Organized at Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in March 1, 1865. Left State for Nashville, Tenn., March 3; thence moved to Decatur, Ala., and garrison and guard duty there till September. Regiment received the surrender of Generals Roddy and Warren. Mustered out September 27, 1865.
