Picketing south side of Green River and protecting working parties. Action at Rowlett's Station, Woodsonville, December 17. Regiment specially complimented by General Buell for its gallantry. Regiment lost during service 7 Officers and 174 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 96 Enlisted men by disease. Total 268.
