Moved to Caseyville, Ill., June 16, thence to Rolla, Mo., July 5-6, being first Regiment to cross Mississippi River into hostile Missouri. Attached to Fremont's Army of the West July to October, 1861. District of Rolla, Dept. of Missouri, to January, 1862. Unattached, Army of Southwest Missouri, to March, 1862. 1st Brigade, 2nd Division, Army of Southwest Missouri, to July, 1862.
