Oral Histories: Documenting the People and Stories Behind the Science at Channel Islands National Park

The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Channel Islands National Park conducted a series of oral interviews to capture the background and stories of the people who have devoted their careers to scholarly and scientific investigations of the natural and cultural resources of the California Channel Islands. These interviews discuss the subjects' backgrounds, interest in, and research into the areas of marine biology, terrestrial biology, marine mammals, paleontology, anthropology, archaeology, history and more.

You may listen to or download these interviews. Please note that these are audio files only.
