Special Use Permits

For more information about conducting special use activities in the park and how to obtain a special use permit, please contact the park's Special Use Coordinator by email or phone at (805) 658-5718.

Activities requiring a special use permit include but are not limited to:

  • Weddings
  • Special Events
  • Group Gatherings (group size 46 or more participants)
  • Public Assembly – First Amendment Activities
  • Non-profit Organization Activities
  • Activities in support of local, state, and other federal agency missions


To apply for a special use permit, please download and completely fill out the 10-930 Special Use Permit Application Form. Please provide thorough supporting details, maps, and photos as needed. Please send completed application, nonrefundable $250 processing fee (cashiers check, personal check or money order), and proof of liability insurance policy with at least $1 million in per occurrence coverage to:
