Become a Junior Ranger

Looking for a way to explore a national park? Become a Junior Ranger! Individuals of all ages can earn a Junior Ranger badge when they complete the necessary activities. Pick up a Junior Ranger booklet at the information desk in the Visitor Center. Return your completed booklet to a Ranger at the information desk to recieve your very own badge. This program is free!

Chaco Culture is a great park for kids to learn about the treasures of the past and why it is important to preserve them. Children of all ages can earn their own Junior Ranger Badge by exploring the park and answering questions in the Junior Ranger booklet. Booklets are provided free at the visitor center. Along the way kids will learn about ancestral Pueblo life and how we can preserve the past and make our own future better.
