Film and photography permits follow the guidlines of the National Capital Area and you can find more information on their website. For specific questions, please call the National Captial Parks-East permits office at 202-690-5152.
 

Reservations


Tours of the Carter G. Woodson Home may be reserved to guarantee your spot on the tour. Space is limited to twenty people per tour time. Visit recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777 at least the day before your desired tour time to make a reservation.

There is a $1.50 charge per reserved spot on the tour. School groups pay a flat fee of $5.00.
