Today, National Park Service (NPS) Southeast Regional Director Stan Austin announced the selection of Jeff West as superintendent of North Carolina’s Cape Lookout National Seashore, effective November 12. West has served as the park’s acting superintendent since May.

Schedule Change for 2017 at Cape Lookout Lighthouse
Cape Lookout National Seashore announces that the weekly operational period for public lighthouse visitation will change beginning June 14, 2017. The park will also resume charging visitors its regular fees for this experience.
