Making the decision on PWC use at Cape Lookout National Seashore
Learn how this decision was made.

2001 Draft Cape Lookout National Seashore PWC Determination
The 2001 Draft PWC Determination was issued by Cape Lookout National Seashore to support a decision to close the seashore to PWC one year before the National Park Service Nation-wide PWC Rule would take effect on April 22, 2002. The 2001 PWC closure at Cape Lookout was rescinded by the Department of the Interior in April 2001 because this decision was made with insufficient public input.
