Your Fee Dollars At Work

The camping fees you pay while at Buffalo National River make a difference! Protecting our natural and cultural heritage and providing a safe, enjoyable, and educational place to visit requires substantial funding. Although your tax dollars help offset the costs of operating Buffalo National River, they do not cover all of the costs.

We participate in the Congressionally-authorized Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. Under this act Buffalo National River is able to keep all of the money collected in the park's campgrounds to use on projects. So next time you visit the park take notice of the improvements that have been made to our campgrounds and public structures. Your fee dollars are hard at work!
