YOU Can Make Our Great Places Better!

The National Park Service protects more than 430 national parks in the United States. Volunteers in Parks (VIPs) support the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect our national parks in many ways including visitor center operations, interpretive services, resource management and research projects and park maintenance.

We invite you to become a VIP at Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park and join us in our efforts to interpret this historic resource by understanding the significant role the park played in the history of the nation’s civil rights movement.
