Our Mission:
In partnership with the National Park Service, The Friends support Booker T. Washington National Monument and its mission to preserve and protect the birth site and childhood home of Booker T. Washington and promote public awareness and appreciation for his legacy.
Promote public awareness of the nationally important story of Booker T. Wahsington and the resources of the park.
Raise funds to support park programs and enhance visitor experience.
Act as ambassadors for the park with civic groups and at local events.
Act as a voice to publicize the park's initiatives.
Promote and support youth anhd volunteer programs that reach new, diverse, and supportive audience for the park.
