Management

Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument created by a Presidential Proclamation on January 12, 2017. The National Park Service’s planning is done with full public involvement and in coordination with the City of Birmingham and other stakeholders. Open houses and public meetings will be held to discuss plan and invite the public to share ideas for the future of the monument.
