New Websites for Park Science

The two primary websites for nature and science information in the San Francisco Bay Area National Parks are getting upgrades! Both the Science and Learning site and the Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) site for the San Francisco Bay Area Parks are moving into the nps.gov umbrella. The new websites feature a modern look and feel, are fully accessible, and make it easier to find and share information across all National Park Service websites.

Content from the Science and Learning website (www.sfnps.org) is moving to the new Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center website, www.nps.gov/rlc/pacificcoast. This site provides information about the learning center and its efforts to support research and education in the parks. It will also provide one-stop shopping for all your natural resource information needs including blogs, links to reports, and information about ongoing research projects, as well as links to Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Program documents.

Information specifically about the I&M Program, once available from https://science.nature.nps.gov/im/units/sfan/, is now moving to www.nps.gov/im/sfan. Although it is still growing, this new site is already an excellent source for monitoring protocol documents, reports, and resource briefs.

Contact Jessica Weinberg for more information about the Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center website or Sarah Wakamiya about the SFAN I&M site as we continue to transition content to these new sites.
