Thank you to everyone who attended our first informational meeting about the transfer of operational responsibility of Fort Washington Marina from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources back to the National Park Service. It was wonderful to meet so many of you and to hear your support for the marina. I particularly appreciated your candor in expressing your concerns about immediate needs, and I look forward to continuing the conversation. We are working to schedule the next informational meeting for September and will announce a date, time and location by July 27.
In the meantime, we’ll be working to post additional information about the marina and the transfer to Piscataway Park’s website. Please don’t hesitate to email me with any additional questions or concerns.
