Celebrate 100 years of parks and trains at the Grand Canyon

Join us in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service at Grand Canyon National Park August 24 – 28, 2016

Amtrak, the National Park Service, Trails & Rails, Texas A&M University and the Grand Canyon Railway will host a five day event at the Grand Canyon Depot. Several exhibitors will have displays on places to see and explore in Arizona.

The opening ceremony and 100th anniversary commemorative event will take place on August 25 at 1:00 at the Grand Canyon Depot.

Amtrak’s Exhibit Train will be open for tours August 25 – 28 from 9:00 to 6:00 each day.

The Grand Canyon Railway will have a variety of steam excursions from Williams, Arizona, to Grand Canyon Depot August 24 – 27.
