It's that time of year again. Sea turtles are coming home to nest and we need your help to monitor them. Virgin Islands National Park relies on volunteers to monitor the beaches for nesting activity. This volunteer commitment will require at least 1-2 hours in the early morning each week until the end of November.
Tasks include:
  • Walking the assigned beach 1-2 times a week.
  • Writing up, photographing and/or drawing any signs of turtle nesting activity.
  • Submitting the data via the Turtle app or email.
Introductory training for volunteers will be held July 13 and 18, 2017 at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Visitor Center in Cruz Bay.

Seats for this training are limited so please contact the coordinator if interested.
Please e-mail volunteer coordinator Adren Anderson at: adrenand@gmail.com to sign up
