There is a lot of important research being done in parks and it doesn't always get the attention it deserves.  Park scientists wade through rivers to check on fish and stream health, build high tech microphones that can detect rodent steps, and they even analyze ancient pollen so they can predict future climates.  Scientists in Natural Resource Stewardship & Science are not always out in the field but many keep things on their desks that remind them why the work they do is important.  #Sciencedeskdigs uses those desk keepsakes as a way tell those scientist's stories and to learn how their work protects our national parks and natural resources.
