What was your role in the military and your dates of service?
I enlisted in the Colorado Air National Guard in 2002 in response to the events of September 11th 2001 (9-11). My initial role was as Airman 1st class, Engineering Assistant; I currently serve as Major, Civil Engineering Operations Chief at Peterson Space Force Base, CO.

How did you come to work for National Park Service?
It’s a funny story, a military co-worker spoke highly of her civilian job at the US Forrest Service; she urged me to apply for a position. By mistake, I submitted my application to National Park Service (NPS) thinking it was within the same department - what a wonderful turn of events!

What role do you play in NPS today?
I am a Project Manager in the Design & Construction Division of the Denver Services Center.
