Distribution/Habitat: Lionfish originate from the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Invasive species throughout the Caribbean, Atlantic, and Gulf of Mexico.
Average Size: 12-15 inches long
Average Life Span: 15 years
Diet: Lionfish feed on more than 70 marine fish and invertebrates species, including larval and juvenile fish.
