Hopewell Earthworks

Hopewell Culture National Historical Park protects six of the many Hopewell earthworks in the Chillicothe area of South Central Ohio. You can see scale models of five of the earthworks on the rear museum wall when you visit the visitor center on your next trip to the park. These giant earthworks were all built about 2,000 years ago! Visit the History & Culture section of the park's website to learn about the park's earthwork sites and then do your best to unscramble the letters next to each earthwork drawing to discover their name.
