Concessioners fill a vital role in helping the National Park Service carry out its mission for park visitors to have happy and healthy experiences in parks. Healthy food concessions in parks helps visitors choose healthy foods to fuel their adventures.
To encourage visitors to make healthy choices, the National Park Service incorporates food standards and sustainable food choice guidelines into all food service contracts.
