Early Settlers: Homeland and Hinterland

Pioneers from Tennessee and Kentucky headed west to settle in what is now called the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. They had to pack all their belongings in one covered wagon. When they arrived they had to build log homes, plant crops and ensure their survival.
