What was your role in the military and your dates of service?
I retired as a Property Accounting Technician, and served with the Wyoming and Colorado Army National Guard from 1979 – 2002.

How did you come to work for National Park Service?
I came to work for the National Park Service (NPS)/Denver Service Center (DSC) in anticipation of the workload associated with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This was an $800B program Government wide, with a short timeline to get contracts awarded and funds obligated. I like to think that I contributed towards pulling the country out of the Great Recession.

What role do you play in National Park Service today?
I am a Contracting Officer for the Denver Service Center.
