Chris Lewis, new DSC Division Chief for the Design and Construction Eastern Team

Chris Lewis was a Branch Chief for the Denver Service Center (DSC) Design and Construction Division and takes over for Todd Alexander who retired in March 2024. Chris started his new position as DSC Division Chief for the Design and Construction Eastern Team on June 30, 2024.

"Chris is a valued leader within the Denver Service Center," said Bethany Barron, DSC Director. "His professional expertise and experience, combined with his ability to lead people and programs effectively, make him a great fit for this position."

Chris began his career with DSC in February 1993 as an electrical engineer designer working on projects in the western United States at Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park, and later in the eastern United States on projects including the United States Forest Service Grey Towers, and at Gateway National Recreation Area and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. In 2000, Chris went to work for the General Services Administration as a project manager in the Capital Improvement Division and eventually became project management lead for the Mountain-Plains Division. Chris returned to DSC in 2007 and has since led the delivery of projects in major programs such as the Elwha River Restoration, Hurricane Sandy Recovery, City+Arch+River in Saint Louis, the Crow Creek Tribal School, Hurricane Irma, Maria, and Harvey, and Disaster Supplemental.
