Campground Loops A, C, & B-D Restrooms

These projects replaced the old inefficient, outdated, and inaccessible restroom facilities at the Fort Pickens Campground. The new restroom facilities meet accessibility requirements. As well as energy efficient units such as compact fluorescent, occupancy sensors, sunlight diffusers, solar power lighting. The new facilities also feature low pressure flush toilets, urinals, water saving faucets, water saving shower heads and solar power hot water heaters.

The new restrooms feature fully accessible facilities improving access for all visitors, showers, and improved coin-operated laundry facilities closer to campers. The new structures and amenities directly benefit every camper that stays at the Fort Pickens Campground.
