Veteran Story: Brendaliz Morales

Brendaliz Morales is an Army veteran who served active duty for 18 years as an Intelligence Analyst and a Recruiter. She joined the Army right after high school and have been stationed at Fort Durm, NY, Fort Huachuca, AZ, Fort Knox, KY, Fort Belvoir, VA, Fort Meade, MD, and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, D.C. During her time as an intelligence analyst stationed at Fort Drum, she did three separate rotations to Iraq totaling 36 months. While stationed at Fort Belvoir and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, she worked for the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), the National Geospatial Agency (NGA), and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Brendaliz retired from the Army in 2020 and joined the National Park Service in 2022. She currently serves as the Special Use Permits Coordinator for the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GWMP) in northern VA and is proud to continue public service in this capacity.
