Mandy's inspiration from the Grand Parade shines through in this painting.

I grew up right next to Valley Forge and learned about the beauty of nature from walks in the park. The Grand Parade was my favorite place to walk; it is so beautiful and full of life. I’ve since moved, but I visit Valley Forge every time I come home and think about it often. The pretty landscapes from Valley Forge make great references for paintings too. I appreciate the park rangers who have worked to make the park such a nice place for people and other creatures. Valley Forge is home to many stories and a rich history, and I am glad to have been there for a small part of its story.
