Landscape Disturbance in Pacific Northwest National Parks

Even parks transform over time—sometimes in dramatic ways! Take a visual tour through 30 years of landscape change in the North Coast & Cascades Network. The NCCN landscape change monitoring program uses satellite remote sensing to track patterns of fire, flooding, landslides, and other natural disturbances. This new analysis also offers clues as to how climate change may already be altering disturbance patterns across the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest.
